System Engineer - AD & O365

The ideal candidate will be responsible for working cross-functionally to understand architecture needs by multiple business units. To be effective in this position, you must feel comfortable owning the entire architecture development process from inception to completion. 

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture initiatives from inception to completion
• Collaborate with business users to create architecture in alignment with business need
• Act as a technical subject matter expert for business users
• Participate in on-call rotation (as required) for emergency technical support and planned maintenance activities
• Perform research, procurement, deployment and configuration of system
• Champion the adoption of reusable architecture assets to improve efficiency
• Produce documentation to aid in the understanding of existing architecture solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, BCA, BCOM.
• 2-5 years' of relevant experience
• Advanced knowledge of leading architecture solutions in the industry area
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Ability to demonstrate technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Technical Skills

• Windows 2008/2012/2016 Active Directory working knowledge
• Experience in Office 365 administrations - Exchange Online, OneDrive, Teams, Azure AD
• Troubleshoot various Office 365 issues including connectivity and mobility
• Installation and configuration of Active Directory domain controllers.
• Deployment of MS security hotfixes and perform upgrade of Active Directory environment apply change management process
• Manage the system properties, system policies and services on active directory top level domain structure and to delegate control/administration on active directory lower level domain structure.
• Managing schema updates and FSMO roles
• Managing of Group policy objects (GPO)
• Add, remove and configure Active Directory sites, sitelinks and subnets
• Installation and configuration of DHCP servers and AD DNS services
• Diagnose and resolve problems associated with the Directory Replication service
• Create or remove Trust relationships and Manage the Directory Replication service
• AD Disaster recovery and Ensure the overall security of the Active Directory domain.
• Conducting root cause analysis
• Understand and manage Azure Active Directory.
• Active Directory process automation via PowerShell scripting.
