Senior Solution Architect - Database Technology Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect specializing in Database Technology, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing complex database solutions for our enterprise clients. Lead troubleshooting and performance optimization efforts, ensuring database systems meet or exceed defined service-level agreements (SLAs). Project & Vendor Management: Oversee the successful implementation of database solutions across projects, ensuring alignment with architecture principles, timelines, and budgets. Manage relationships with third-party database vendors and tools, ensuring the effective integration of their solutions into the architecture. Contribute to the development and management of the project roadmap, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of solutions. Security & Compliance: Ensure database solutions adhere to industry standards and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2). Implement data protection measures, including encryption, backup strategies, and disaster recovery planning. Conduct periodic reviews of database security and performance. Required Skills & Experience: Technical Expertise: In-depth experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB). Strong understanding of cloud-based database platforms (AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database, Google Cloud SQL, etc.).
