Job Summary:

System Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and document business requirements, workflows, and processes.
  • Design and recommend technology-based solutions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to implement system enhancements.
  • Conduct system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure functionality and performance.
  • Prepare detailed system documentation including use cases, data flow diagrams, and technical specifications.
  • Manage and maintain existing systems, ensuring uptime, data integrity, and security.
  • Evaluate new technologies and recommend upgrades or integrations where appropriate.
  • Support user training, create manuals, and provide technical guidance.
  • Serve as a liaison between end users and technical teams to ensure project alignment.
  • Monitor system performance and report on key metrics to leadership.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3–5+ years of experience as a System Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of

    systems architecture, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and database management

    .
  • Proficiency in

    SQL, data modeling, and process mapping tools

    .
  • Experience with

    ERP, CRM, or enterprise systems integration

    .
  • Familiarity with

    cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)

    is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with

    Agile or Scrum

    methodologies.
  • Knowledge of

    business process reengineering

    and workflow automation.
  • Familiarity with

    API integrations, cybersecurity practices

  • Professional certifications such as

    CBAP, ITIL, or PMP
