Company Name – Polestar Consulting Pvt Ltd Job Title: System Administrator Location: Viman Nagar - Pune Experience: 4–7 years Employment Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware systems. Manage network servers and related technology tools. Set up user accounts and workstations. Monitor system performance and ensure systems meet organizational requirements. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and outages. Implement and maintain security measures such as firewalls, access controls, and backups. Perform system upgrades and apply patches, updates, and new hardware models as needed. Required Qualifications: Proven experience as a System Administrator. Strong knowledge of database administration, LAN/WAN networking, and patch management. Familiarity with a wide range of operating systems and platforms (Windows, Linux, macOS, etc.). In-depth understanding of system security techniques, including intrusion detection and data backup/recovery protocols. Excellent problem-solving skills and a resourceful approach to system maintenance. Preferred Certifications: CCNA The Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) or similar credentials.
