PURPOSE
The administrator has the responsibility to manage the technical & support for datacenter customer of the company. He will be integral part of growth strategy, providing focus for new & existing customer support and their solution. He will responsible to address the first level issues and try to resolve them with 100% customer satisfaction through his technical knowledge within define time frame, he will define & design the technical plan, execution and manage & help to develop the department. He will maintain direct relation with key people & process and provide adequate suggestions & reporting
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Profile Experience
- Build a good knowledge of the products & technologies; in which Cloud, Datacenter / Hosting industry is operating and ensure timely intelligence to provide best of the service to customers
- Keep an open eye on the market to detect any threats from competitors
- Should be a team player and ready to manage team in complex situations and environment.
- Should have worked in Datacenter environment and understand the complexity.
- Managing multiple customers for new project implementation, management of services and support
Technical Abilities:
- Responsible for installation, configuration, administration, security, and troubleshooting of Linux and Windows-based systems, virtualization environments, web hosting control panels, databases, DNS, and mail gateways to ensure smooth IT operations and service availability.
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu, AlmaLinux) and Windows Server systems.
- Perform OS updates, kernel upgrades, and regular system security patching.
- Manage VMware ESXi/vCenter including VM creation, cloning, snapshots, and resource optimization.
- Administer cPanel/WHM, Plesk, Apache, Nginx, and IIS for web hosting and application deployments.
- Configure and manage SSL/TLS certificates, reverse proxies, redirects, and load balancing.
- Host and maintain multiple websites and applications ensuring uptime and performance.
- Troubleshoot HTTP, DNS, SSL, and email-related issues.
- Manage DNS records (A, MX, CNAME, TXT, PTR, SPF, DKIM, DMARC) using BIND, PowerDNS, or hosting panels.
- Configure and maintain network settings, NAT, routing, and firewalls to ensure secure connectivity.
- Administer and maintain MySQL, MariaDB, and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Perform database backups, restores, replication setup, and query optimization.
- Manage Zimbra Mail Server and Proxmox Mail Gateway for mail delivery, spam filtering, and antivirus protection.
- Monitor and troubleshoot mail queues, relay settings, and SMTP/IMAP/POP3 issues.
- Automate system and application tasks using Bash, Python, or PowerShell scripts.
- Create automation scripts for backup, monitoring, log rotation, and maintenance tasks.
- Monitor servers using tools such as Zabbix, Nagios, Grafana, or Netdata.
- Implement and maintain system backup solutions using rsync, JetBackup, R1Soft, or Acronis.
- Conduct system hardening, log analysis, and vulnerability scanning to maintain security compliance.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, SSH access, and file system quotas.
- Provide L2/L3 technical support for server, hosting, DNS, database, and mail-related issues.
- Handle support tickets efficiently and document incident resolutions.
- Collaborate with development and support teams to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Maintain and update documentation related to system configurations and standard procedures.
- Monitor daily server health, resource usage, backups, and email delivery.
- Verify SSL certificate renewals, DNS synchronization, and backup integrity.
- Perform root cause analysis for incidents and implement preventive measures.
- Ensure high availability and redundancy for critical services and DNS servers.
- Participate in capacity planning, performance tuning, and system optimization activities.
- Assist in migration, deployment, and version upgrades of web or database applications.
- Maintain infrastructure stability through proactive monitoring and timely troubleshooting.
- Follow IT policies for security, backup, and change management.
- Ensure all servers and applications are compliant with company security standards.
- Write and maintain technical documentation, scripts, and operational procedures.
- Provide remote support via SSH, RDP, or control panels as required.
- Stay updated on new technologies, patches, and security practices for continuous improvement.
- Maintain good communication with teams and escalate issues when necessary.
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support when required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Academic Education:
- Bachelor degree / Technical degree
Experience:
- Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in technical / support.
- Experience in datacenter environment and its knowledge will be preferred.
- Clear technical role & achievements track record
Skills:
- Skills in presenting & managing team and ready to work 24X7 if needed.
- Good communication and presentation skills
