As a Mail Server Administrator / Application Support, your primary responsibility will be to install, configure, and maintain mail server software to meet the organizational requirements. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Demonstrated experience in managing mail servers such as Microsoft Exchange, Postfix, PMTA, or Sendmail is essential. A strong understanding of email protocols (SMTP, IMAP, POP3) and DNS basics, along with proficiency in implementing email security features, including encryption and authentication, is required. Familiarity with spam filtering technologies, antivirus systems, exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively are also crucial for this position.
