System Administrator (L2/L3)

You are seeking a highly skilled and experienced L2/L3 System and Network Administrator to manage, maintain, and support the IT infrastructure. Your role is critical in ensuring the stability, integrity, security, and optimal performance of in-house systems and network. Key Responsibilities: - Manage, monitor, and maintain systems running on Windows, Linux, and macOS. - Handle patch management, system updates, and performance tuning. - Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues from the L1 support team. - Administer and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless APs. - Configure and manage network security policies and devices like FortiGate and Sophos firewalls. - Conduct network monitoring, troubleshooting, and traffic analysis. - Implement and monitor backup solutions and disaster recovery plans; regularly test restore procedures. - Ensure data integrity, system security, and availability. - Apply security hardening and best practices across all systems and networks. - Assist in audits, vulnerability assessments, and ensuring compliance standards are met. - Maintain updated documentation for systems, processes, and network diagrams. - Plan and implement system upgrades and migrations with minimal downtime. - Manage virtualization platforms such as Proxmox and VMware ESXi. - Administer Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and file/print servers. - Generate reports for system performance, uptime, and incident tracking. - Collaborate with DevOps, Development, and Security teams to support infrastructure needs. - Participate in rotational on-call support for critical IT issues. Required Skills & Experience: - 5+ years of experience in System and Network Administration at L2/L3 level. - Strong hands-on experience with Windows, Linux, and Mac systems. - In-depth knowledge of networking components and protocols. - Experience with FortiGate, Sophos, and other enterprise-grade security devices. - Expertise in virtualization (Proxmox/VMware ESXi). - Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams. - Familiarity with IT compliance, audit processes, and documentation. Preferred Certifications: - Microsoft (MCSA/MCSE), Linux (RHCE), Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), or equivalent. - Fortinet NSE certifications or equivalent firewall/security certification.,
