PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
We are looking for a System Administrator to maintain, upgrade and manage our software, hardware and networks. Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users. Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Installation and configuration of Windows-based all operating systems Windows 2008/2012/2016 & 2019, Active Directory management and related services (group policy, DNS, DHCP, Hyper-V Manager, etc.), (Windows XP, Vista,7,8 & 10, etc.).
- Configuration & Maintaining of Firewall (SonicWall, Sophos).
- Software installations and troubleshooting of all types of customer-oriented field problems, network setting for Routers, Switch, DNS & DHCP Services, TCP/IP, and Internet setup.
- Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting all types of Computer Hardware and software application problems. Ensure security and efficiency of IT infrastructure.
- Installing, updating, and managing software, antivirus, all printer, scanner, Cameras (DVR & NVR), Biometric attendance, printer, and other accessories maintenance.
- Configuration & troubleshooting of LANs & WAN-related issues reported by users. Install and configure network segments and servers, such as file servers, VPN gateways, and intrusion detection systems
- Installation and configuration of wireless Data Cards in users laptops.
- Password creation & resetting to end users through remote desktop.
- Configuration & troubleshooting of MS Outlook 2007/13/16 or Outlook Express, Office 365 and G-suite, etc.
- Maintains, secure and upgrade a web system. Create a backup and safeguard the data and perform account setup for new and old employees
- Track emerging technologies and implement them in the organization
- Research upcoming products, service protocols, and standards in support of systems software procurement and development efforts.
- Ensure an uninterrupted internet connection and manages mail servers for sending and receiving emails and file servers for saving and managing data.
- Oversee system performance and report generation.
- Manage user accounts, credentials, permissions, access rights, storage allocations, and active directory administration.
- Secure system integrity from any breaches or viruses and play an essential role in risk-mitigation planning, including creating backup plans, safeguards for data, user security policies, and identity management.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
- Bachelors degree in computer science, information system management, information technology or other related field.
- Other degree programs with an emphasis on hardware, computer networks, and system administration are also acceptable.
