Skill Set : l Operating Systems l Networking l Server Management l Scripting and Automation l Security l Backup and Recovery l Performance Monitoring Duties & Responsibilities: l Hardware and Software Setup: Installing and configuring servers, workstations, network devices, and other hardware components.l Operating System Installation: Installing and configuring operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and ensuring they are up-to-date.l Application Installation: Setting up and configuring application software and ensuring compatibility with existing systems.l Patch Management: Applying patches and updates to operating systems and software to fix vulnerabilities and improve functionality.l System Monitoring: Regularly monitoring system performance and health using tools to ensure optimal performance and availability.l Backup and Recovery: Implementing and managing backup solutions to ensure data integrity and availability in case of hardware failure or other issues.
