IT Systems Engineer / System Administrator (Hybrid)

Position Title: IT Systems Engineer / System Administrator

Experience Required: 5+ Years

Location: Hyderabad, India

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer / System Administrator to join our

team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in system

administration, networking, hardware configuration, and device management. This role

involves providing remote and onsite IT support while ensuring smooth daily IT operations.

Role & responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware including desktops, laptops, Wi-Fi

routers, switches, and peripherals.

• Configure and manage network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPNs, firewalls,

wireless).

• Perform Operating System (Windows/Linux) and application software installations,

upgrades, and patching.

• Administer Microsoft Active Directory including user accounts, groups, policies,

roles, and permissions.

• Remotely manage end-user devices and servers using RMM tools such as

ManageEngine Endpoint Central.

• Provide timely troubleshooting for IT-related issues (hardware, software, or

network).

• Monitor systems for performance, security, and backups.
• Ensure compliance with IT security best practices and organizational policies.

Skills &Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree, or Diploma (or equivalent work experience).
• 5+ years experience in IT system administration/support.
• Hands-on knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, switching, firewalls).
• Proficiency with hardware troubleshooting and system repair.
• Experience in Microsoft Windows Server administration & Active Directory.
• Familiarity with Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM) tools, preferably Manage

Engine Endpoint Central

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications like CCNA, MCSA, CompTIA A+/N+.
• Exposure to endpoint security tools and cloud platforms (Office 365, Azure AD).
