Position: System Administrator

Experience: 2 – 5 Years

Location: Bhubaneswar

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled System Administrator with hands-on experience in managing Linux servers, databases, application servers, cloud platforms, and scripting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining system performance, ensuring security, and supporting production and development environments.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Linux Server Administration

* Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux servers (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL).

* Perform system updates, patch management, backups, and recovery operations.

* Troubleshoot server-related issues and ensure optimal uptime.

2. Database Administration

* Basic administration and management of databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.

* Backup, restore, user management, and performance tuning support.

3. Application Server Administration

* Manage and configure Web Servers: Apache, Nginx.

* Administrate Email Applications: Postfix, IMAP.

* Manage version control platforms like GitHub and GitLab.

4. Server Monitoring

* Setup, configure, and monitor systems using tools like Zabbix, Nagios.

* Generate alerts, logs, and reports to ensure server health and performance.

5. Cloud Server Management

* Basic to intermediate knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, DigitalOcean, and virtualization tools like VMware.

* Manage cloud instances, storage, networking, and security configurations.

6. Scripting & Automation

* Write and maintain scripts in *Shell* or *Perl* for automation of routine tasks.

Required Skill Set:

* Strong knowledge of Linux server environments.

* Familiarity with web and email server administration.

* Hands-on experience with DB administration (MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB).

* Experience with cloud platforms and monitoring tools.

* Good understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, and security practices.

* Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
