System Administrator

As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for the management and maintenance of Windows Server, RedHat/Ubuntu, and Fortigate Firewall systems. Your primary duties will include system monitoring, troubleshooting, patch management, user administration, and security configurations to ensure optimal performance, availability, and compliance. Your key responsibilities will involve administering Windows Server and RedHat/Ubuntu systems by monitoring OS status, performing troubleshooting tasks, executing system upgrades, applying OS updates, managing incidents, and overseeing migrations and high-impact changes. You will also be responsible for tracking patch releases, validating patches in staging environments, deploying patches on production systems, and troubleshooting post-deployment issues. Additionally, you will coordinate UAT testing, prepare reports, and escalate unresolved issues while designing mitigation strategies based on identified threat vectors. In terms of Active Directory administration, you will create user IDs, reset passwords, update group policies, troubleshoot authentication and replication issues, and manage policy configurations. You will also deploy and maintain domain controllers and oversee the implementation and management of ADFS architecture. For Fortigate Firewall administration, you will monitor firewall logs and alerts, assist in rule verification, perform policy changes, firmware and application updates, design and configure advanced security rules, and manage VPN configurations. The ideal candidate for this position should possess strong experience in Windows Server and Linux administration, proficiency in virtualization platforms and patch management, hands-on expertise with Active Directory, group policies, and ADFS, knowledge of firewall administration preferably Fortigate, strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, and the ability to handle high-impact changes and complex incident resolutions.
