Mendix Developer

We are seeking dynamic and motivated individuals with 1-5 years of experience in Mendix development to join our team. As a Mendix Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying applications using the Mendix low-code platform. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that drive business success. Your key responsibilities will include designing, developing, and deploying applications using the Mendix low-code platform. You will build scalable and user-friendly applications that align with business requirements. Additionally, you will work closely with stakeholders, such as business analysts, project managers, and end-users, to gather and translate requirements into functional applications. Collaboration with team members to integrate Mendix applications with other systems will also be a part of your role. In terms of testing and debugging, you will conduct thorough testing to ensure application functionality and performance. You will also be responsible for debugging and resolving technical issues promptly. Furthermore, you will prepare and maintain technical documentation, including application design, workflows, and user guides. Continuous improvement is key in this role. You will need to stay updated with the latest features of Mendix and implement best practices to enhance development efficiency. Identifying opportunities for improvement in existing applications and processes will also be part of your responsibilities. Qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Candidates should have 1-5 years of experience in software development, with exposure to Mendix preferred but not mandatory for entry-level candidates. A strong understanding of application design and development principles, familiarity with database concepts, basic SQL knowledge, and exposure to web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are considered advantageous. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach to work are essential. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is advantageous. A Mendix Rapid Developer Certification or willingness to obtain one is preferred.
