Mendix Developer

• Position: Senior Mendix Developer
• Experience: 4–7 years in Mendix, plus prior experience in traditional programming (Java, .NET, or equivalent)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mendix Developer to join our Low-Code/No-Code (LCNC) practice. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering enterprise-grade Mendix applications and prior experience in traditional programming languages. This dual expertise will enable them to bridge business needs with technical execution, design scalable solutions, and mentor junior developers in building robust applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Development: Design, develop, and deploy Mendix applications with high quality, scalability, and maintainability.
• Architecture & Design: Translate business requirements into robust application architectures leveraging Mendix and traditional programming expertise.
• Integration: Build and manage integrations with external systems/APIs (REST, SOAP, OData, databases, cloud services).
• Customization: Extend Mendix capabilities using Java/JavaScript/React Native for complex business logic, custom widgets, or connectors.
• Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, UX/UI designers, and stakeholders to deliver user-centric solutions.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure best practices in coding, security, performance optimization, and testing.
• Mentorship: Guide and coach junior Mendix developers and ensure adherence to coding standards and delivery processes.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with Mendix platform enhancements, share knowledge, and drive innovation within the team.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4–7 years of Mendix development experience with at least 2–3 end-to-end Mendix project implementations.
• Strong experience in traditional programming languages (Java, .NET, C#, or similar) before transitioning to Mendix.
• Proficiency in Mendix Studio Pro, microflows, nanoflows, domain models, and security setup.
• Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, database management (SQL/NoSQL).
• Knowledge of custom Java actions, JavaScript widgets, and Mendix App Store components.
• Familiarity with cloud deployment models (Mendix Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP, or on-premise setups).
• Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Mendix Advanced or Expert Certification.
• Experience in mobile app development (Mendix Native/React Native).
• Exposure to DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized deployments.
• Domain knowledge in industries like manufacturing, BFSI, pharma, or logistics.
