Job Description

We are seeking a SysOps Engineer with 2+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, automation and CloudOps support. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in AWS services, scripting, CI/CD processes, containerization (Docker, ECS), monitoring tools (Nagios, CloudWatch) and compliance awareness for ISO, SOC2 and GDPR.

This role requires flexibility to work in rotational shifts (5-day work week, including possible weekend shifts) and the ability to ensure stability and performance of production environments.

What you'll do:

Support and monitor AWS cloud infrastructure in production environments.
Write and maintain automation scripts using Python or Bash.
Work with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, Jenkins, etc) for deployments.
Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and ECS.
Configure and troubleshoot AWS networking basics (VPC, subnets, security groups, load balancers).
Use Nagios, CloudWatch for monitoring and alerting.
Troubleshoot production issues, escalate when needed, and assist in root cause analysis (RCA).
Follow and support incident, problem, and change management processes.
Ensure adherence to security and compliance practices (SOC, ISO, GDPR).
Work in rotational 5-day shifts, including weekends if scheduled, to provide 24/7 production support.

What we're looking for:

bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of hands-on experience with
AWS
services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch).
Practical knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash and more)
.
Experience with Git/GitHub for version control.
Exposure to
Docker and ECS
for containerized workloads.
Working knowledge of monitoring tools (Nagios, CloudWatch).
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Flexibility to work in 5-day rotation shifts, including weekends when required.
Awareness of compliance requirements (SOC/ISO).

Nice-to-Have Skills:

AWS Associate-level certification (SysOps Administrator, Solutions Architect, or DevOps Engineer).
Exposure to Terraform or AWS CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Proficiency in Python scripting
Working knowledge of Node.js, React/Angular frameworks.
