As a Sustainability & Social Compliance Manager at a reputed Apparel & Home Buying Agency in Tirupur, your role involves: - Performing Social, Health & Safety, and Environmental system evaluations at new and existing suppliers. - Overseeing and ensuring compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory, and statutory requirements, as well as the CSR role. You will be accountable for identifying, planning, developing, and implementing long-term sustainability initiatives and objectives that align with the company's vision. Your responsibilities will include training, educating, and developing the team in the fields of social, environmental, and chemical compliance, and sustainability. Additionally, you will update company affiliations on the importance and effectiveness of sustainability initiatives, ensuring adherence to all laws and industry regulations. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 12 to 14 years of experience in Social Compliance within the Apparel & Textile buying Agency and sourcing office. - Strong knowledge of social, environmental, and chemical compliance. - Experience in overseeing compliance with legal, regulatory, and statutory requirements.
