Job Description (JD) for the Survey Draughtsman Position: Survey Draughtsman Location: Kolkata Salary: ₹10,000 – ₹15,000 Qualification Required: ITI or Diploma in Survey Engineering / Civil Engineering Experience: 1 to 5 years Software Skills: AutoCAD & Google Earth (Mandatory) Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Survey Draughtsman to support our survey and drafting operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing drawings from survey data and proficiency in AutoCAD and Google Earth. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed survey drawings, topographical maps, and layout plans using AutoCAD. Interpret and draft from survey data, field sketches, and measurements. Overlay survey data on Google Earth and ensure geo-referencing accuracy. Assist in updating existing drawings as per site revisions and survey feedback. Maintain proper records and filing of all drawings and supporting documents. Coordinate with surveyors and engineering teams for clarification and updates. Skills Required: Proficiency in AutoCAD for survey and civil drafting. Strong working knowledge of Google Earth and basic GIS overlay techniques. Ability to understand and interpret survey field data. Good knowledge of civil drawings, scales, and plotting standards. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
