Purpose/Objective

To ensure seamless availability, installation, and maintenance of essential utility services—such as water, electricity, gas, sewage, and telecommunications—across the project site. The role supports construction and operational activities by coordinating with utility providers, managing infrastructure layouts, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Deliverables / Responsible for (results)1. Understand & implement the HSE guidelines at site while implementing mechanical activities at site. 1. Review & Implement Strict control procedures while executing Mechanical project activities. 1. Anticipate Project Site hazards & provide mitigation measures on identified risks. 1. Lead from front to formulate & review the entire project execution plan starting from mobilization, construction, testing, and commissioning within stipulated period. 1. Coordinates with different agency (civil, electrical) at site to execute & support their job without interference. 1. Verifies & Implements the QA/QC procedure while executing Mechanical Project activities. 1. Responds to clarification on design & specifications sought by contractors based on site specific conditions in coordination with engineering development team. 1. Reviews & predict the bottlenecks and its mitigation for the Mechanical Construction activity. 1. Develop a system to ensure the Contractors mechanical work procedures & method Statements, rigging plans, construction methodology, piping/static equipment installation methods and task risk assessments are properly executed before commencement of any mechanical activity. 1. Conducts Safety Audits and Motivational program for Contract Workmen. 1. Review & Certify Invoices in line with defined BOQ for Mechanical activities along with all documentation work. 1. Develop a system to ensure the Contractors mechanical work procedures & method Statements, rigging plans, construction methodology, piping/static equipment installation methods and task risk assessments are properly executed before commencement of any mechanical activity. 1. Lead from front to formulate & review the entire project execution plan starting from mobilization, construction, testing, and commissioning within stipulated period. 1. Coordinates with different agency (civil, electrical) at site to execute & support their job without interference. 1. Fabrication and Erection including equipment related to pump house, water line and fire hydrant system for total plant. 1. Fabrication and Erection including equipment related to Compressor & Blower for Raw Mill & Pyro system. 1. RMC maintenance, Crane and other construction related equipment mobilization, coordination and keep ready for operation.

14 Qualifications Essential B.E./ B. Tech (Mechanical) Desirable/Preferable Post-graduation degree, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Certificate in Utility Management 15 Work Experience (Cumulative) Total Years (Band) 6-12 Years Years (Relevant) 5-8 Years Seniority (desirable) Types of Organization MNC, Indian Conglomerates, Large Scale, SME, Listed, Hi-Growth, Stable, Process driven. Types of Sectors Infrastructure, Construction, Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation Variety of experience 5 years’ experience in Metal, Mining, Cement, Power, Mechanical, Steel Qualitative aspects Work experience in Cement/ Manufacturing industry
