Support Engineer (Website Load Balancing)

The Support Engineer – Website Load Balancing at Tity Global Pvt Ltd will be responsible for ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance of Tity Global’s web platforms through effective load balancing solutions. The role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing traffic distribution across servers and ensuring seamless user experience worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, monitor, and maintain load balancing solutions (e.g., NGINX, HAProxy, F5, AWS ELB/ALB, Azure Traffic Manager, Cloudflare Load Balancer).
• Manage traffic distribution strategies (round robin, least connections, IP hash, weighted routing, etc.).
• Ensure website uptime and availability through proactive monitoring and incident management.
• Troubleshoot performance issues, server bottlenecks, SSL termination, and failover scenarios.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, and Security teams to optimize infrastructure.
• Perform routine health checks, system upgrades, and patch management for load balancers.
• Implement disaster recovery strategies and high-availability clusters.
• Document configurations, SOPs, and incident resolutions for knowledge base.
• Provide 24/7 support (on-call rotation) for critical incidents

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of load balancing concepts: session persistence, sticky sessions, L4/L7 routing.
• Hands-on experience with NGINX, HAProxy, F5, or cloud-native load balancers (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Knowledge of DNS, TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, HTTP/HTTPS protocols.
• Familiarity with web servers (Apache, NGINX, IIS) and reverse proxy configurations.
• Experience with Linux/Unix system administration.
• Scripting skills (Bash, Python, or PowerShell) for automation preferred.
• Monitoring tools knowledge: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, DevOps, or Web Operations.
• Certifications (preferred but not mandatory):
• F5 Certified Technology Specialist (CTS)
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect / SysOps
• Microsoft Azure Administrator
• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)

Performance KPIs

• Website uptime (≥ 99.9%).
• Load balancer availability and performance metrics.
• Incident response and resolution time (MTTR).
• Successful implementation of traffic routing and failover strategies.
• Customer satisfaction on web performance.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year
