Imagine being part of a team where your data analysis skills can impact millions of consumers worldwide In Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA), you will help third-party businesses (our Selling Partners) leverage the robust data and analytics capabilities that Amazon has built over the last 25 years FBA enables these sellers to offload the heavy lifting of warehousing, payment processing, delivery, returns, and customer service to Amazon Today, thousands of Amazon Sellers from more than 130 countries fulfill orders to customers in 185 countries using FBA, generating over 3 billion units served in the EU last year alone In this role, you will use your expertise in data engineering, business analytics, and problem-solving to provide critical insights that drive the success of the FBA program and our selling partners, Are you passionate about driving operational excellenceInterested in learning new technologiesDo you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentFBA is seeking a Support Engineer to join our team in supporting business intelligence engineers, investigation specialists, and ML data associates in maintaining and executing tech solutions across the FBA ecosystem This includes working with inbound operations, inventory management, fulfillment center operations, delivery performance, customer returns, quality control, and reimbursement processes You will work alongside program and product managers to support existing systems and tools that enhance our fulfillment operations Your role will focus on ensuring day-to-day technical operations run smoothly and efficiently while developing expertise in specific operational areas, Write and Execute SQL queries to analyze data and support operational investigations Create and maintain standard reports using existing templates and dashboards Use Amazon QuickSight to monitor established operational metrics and respond to alerts Support the maintenance of existing automated reporting solutions Conduct basic root cause analysis on operational issues using established frameworks Execute and maintain existing ETL processes Use existing Python scripts to process data and run standard analytical workflows Work with team members to understand and implement business requirements Use established AWS solutions to support operational processes Troubleshoot and resolve common technical issues using existing documentation Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge bases Identify opportunities for process improvements within your assigned area Learn from senior team members and begin developing expertise in specific focus areas Participate in scheduled on-call rotations with team support We are open to hiring candidates to work out of the following location: Hyderabad, TS, IND Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related quantitative field 2+ years of hands-on experience in technical support, data engineering, business analytics, or related field 2+ years of experience working with and extracting data from relational databases (SQL) 1+ years of experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems Basic experience with scripting languages (Python) Familiarity with agile/scrum or similar collaborative workflows ADAPTABLE: You willingly undertake a variety of tasks, switching from complex to routine tasks as needed You quickly adapt to new technologies and products and work effectively with a variety of personalities and work styles, BIG PICTURE: You solve problems at their root by stepping back to understand the broader context, PROACTIVE: You demonstrate energy and initiative in solving problems, exploring all possible avenues to get the job done, Preferred Qualifications Experience working with cloud services (preferably AWS services for databases, compute, storage, or analytics) Experience working with business intelligence solutions ( e-g , Tableau, Power BI, Amazon QuickSight) Knowledge of web services or e-commerce operations Proven documentation skills Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers If you have a disability and need a workplace accommodation or adjustment during the application and hiring process, including support for the interview or onboarding process, amazon jobs / content / en / how-we-hire / accommodations for more information If the country/region youre applying in isnt listed, please contact your Recruiting Partner, Company ADCI HYD 13 SEZ Job ID: A3035200 Show
