Support Electrical 1

Purpose/Objective

Purpose of Position Electrical Engineers provide support for electrical work in the manufacturing, transport and construction industries. Planning and implementing research methodology and procedures to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects. Working with project managers on production efforts to ensure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Deliverables / Responsible for (results)1. Developing Electrical work procedures & method Statements, rigging plans, construction methodology, static equipment installation methods and task risk assessments before commencement of any Electrical activity. 1. Lead from front to execute the entire project plan starting from mobilization, construction, testing, and commissioning within stipulated period. 1. Coordinates with different agency (Civil, Mechanical & Instrumentation) at site to execute & support their job without interference. 1. Understand & implement the HSE guidelines at site while implementing Electrical activities at site. 1. Implement Strict control procedures while executing Electrical project activities. 1. Evaluate Project Site hazards & implement mitigation measures on identified risks. 1. Lead from front to execute the entire project plan starting from mobilization, construction, testing, and commissioning within stipulated period. 1. Coordinates with different agency (Civil, Mechanical & Instrumentation) at site to execute & support their job without interference. 1. Implements the QA/QC procedure while executing Electrical Project activities. 1. Carry out day-to-day management of the site, including supervising electrical team and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any contractors. 1. Providing technical advice at field and suggestions for improvement on project schedule. 1. Monitor project progress, compliance with design specifications and safety standards for all electrical activity. 1. Drawing up work schedules and communicating any adjustments to crew members. 1. Developing electrical work procedures & method Statements, rigging plans, construction methodology, static equipment installation methods, Electrical testing and task risk before commencement of any electrical activity. 1. Knowledge of electrical equipment installation & commissioning, electrical system study, relay testing, setting and coordination etc. 1. Conducts Toolbox Talks and Motivational program for Contract Workmen. 1. Oversees & controls the quality control and health and safety matters on site. 1. Construction activity related to Electrical from Mines Crusher to Raw Mill including additive feeding. 1. Ensure Zero incident during Electrical construction. Safety & quality to be ensured during E&I construction. 1. Electrical installation of all Transformer, 132KV switchyard. 1. Construction activity related to Electrical from Preheater to clinker loading including coal mill, CHP, Wagon trippler, pyro. 1. Ensure Zero incident during Electrical construction. Safety & quality to be ensured during E&I construction.

Qualifications and Experience

14 Qualifications Essential B.E./ B. Tech. E&I / Electrical Desirable/Preferable Post-graduation degree, Diploma in Electrical engineering 15 Work Experience (Cumulative) Total Years (Band) 8-12 Years Years (Relevant) 8-10 Years Seniority (desirable) Types of Organization MNC, Indian Conglomerates, Large Scale, SME, Listed, Hi-Growth, Stable, Process driven Types of Sectors Electrical, Instrumentation, Infrastructure Variety of experience 5-year experience in Mining, Cement, Power, Instrumentation Qualitative aspects Work experience in Cement/ Manufacturing industry
