Job Description

Key Areas of Responsibilities

Provide front-office support for Equity Brokerage trading activities, including trade booking, processing, and flow management in DMA, DSA, and Agency environments.
Manage and monitor FIX connectivity, ensuring seamless onboarding of clients and vendors, and maintaining FIX certifications.
Support and troubleshoot trade execution platforms such as Fidessa, Flextrade, Bloomberg, and ITG, ensuring high system uptime and efficiency.
Conduct FIX testing using tools like VeriFIX, and monitor FIX traffic with tools like ITRS; identify and resolve connectivity and messaging issues proactively.
Collaborate with exchange vendors and internal teams to ensure compliance with Asian market exchange rules (HK, JP, KR, SG, TW, AU, IN) and adapt to regulatory changes.
Lead or participate in FIX rollout projects, including configuration, testing, and implementation of new FIX versions and engines like Cameron and Appia.
Maintain a good understanding of Algo trading systems and order management systems to facilitate accurate trade execution and flow.
Provide trade support on high-pressure trading floors, managing urgent issues independently and communicating effectively with traders, vendors, and stakeholders.

Requirements

(Mandatory) Bachelors degree or above in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
(Mandatory) Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Equities Brokerage Front Office roles within Capital Markets.
(Mandatory) Proven proficiency in FIX technology, including FIX certification and client onboarding, with around 5 years of hands-on experience.
(Mandatory) Extensive knowledge of Cash Equity business, including DMA, DSA, Agency, and Program FIX environments.
(Mandatory) Adequate knowledge of Futures & Options trading in DMA and DSA FIX setups.
(Mandatory) 3-5 years of experience working in a Broker/Dealer environment, with familiarity in Asian exchange rules (HK, JP, KR, SG, TW, AU, IN).
(Mandatory) Strong understanding of trade flow systems, especially for ID markets like Korea, Taiwan, and India.
(Mandatory) Good knowledge of Algo trading systems and Order Management Systems such as Fidessa, Flextrade.
(Mandatory) Experience with FIX testing tools like VeriFIX and monitoring tools such as ITRS.
(Mandatory) Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks efficiently, and thrive in a high-pressure trading environment.
(Optional) FIX development skills and experience in rolling out FIX projects.
(Optional) Knowledge of FIX versions 4. 0, 4. 1, 4. 2, and FIX engines like Cameron and Appia.
(Optional) Basic knowledge of ORACLE (user level), Unix, Shell scripting, and FIX automation tools.
(Mandatory) Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English; ability to interact with vendors and traders effectively.
