Supply Planner

Role Overview: As a Supply Planner at Levi Strauss & Co., you will be responsible for end-to-end supply management, from planning to delivery. Your main task will be to evaluate lead times, raw material availability, placement options, and capacity constraints to develop a comprehensive supply plan based on demand forecasts. Your coordination, strategic planning skills, and understanding of supply chain dynamics will play a crucial role in ensuring the on-time delivery of products to the business, managing the entire global supply planning process. Key Responsibilities: - Constrain Supply Planning: Analyze unconstrained supply requests by applying constraints such as lead times, minimum order quantities (MOQ), capacity, and raw material availability to deliver a viable, confirmed, constrained supply plan. - Supply Confirmation Indicators: Ensure supply confirmations exceed goals, maintaining efficiency. - Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Business, Product Development, and Sourcing teams to ensure seamless execution of supply plans, encouraging interdepartmental cooperation. - Address Supply Constraints: Evaluate and resolve supply and resource constraints by negotiating capacities and lead times with Sourcing teams and Vendors. Explore and identify cross-sourcing opportunities to improve supply chain flexibility. - Agility Programmes: Identify products and markets suitable for agility programmes and collaborate with Sourcing teams and vendors to implement models that reduce lead times and enhance supply chain responsiveness. Qualifications Required: - Experience: 12 to 15 years of experience in supply chain management background, including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Material Planning, and Procurement. Apparel industry experience is a plus. - Problem-solving: Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a focus on process improvement and implementing solutions. - Analytical Planning: Solution-oriented with strong analytical planning skills, adept at forecasting, demand planning, and resource allocation. - Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across cross-functional teams for seamless coordination. - Deadline Management: Committed to delivering high-quality work within stringent deadlines, demonstrating superior time management and organizational skills. - Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with supply planning systems. Hands-on experience in these areas is advantageous. - Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Practical experience in the supply chain or planning domains is valued.
