Supply Chain Project Manager

As a Functional Project Manager in Sourcing, your role involves planning, directing, and executing local and/or global projects. You will be accountable for coordinating and leading multiple projects of medium to high complexity, multiple sub-projects, and/or cross-location projects. Your responsibilities include presenting project status to customers and Woodward managers, participating in enterprise trade-offs, providing mentoring to lower-level project managers, and participating in strategic planning processes. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate/lead multiple projects of medium to high complexity - Present and represent project status to customers and Woodward managers - Participate in enterprise trade-offs between projects - Provide mentoring to lower-level project managers - Participate in strategic planning processes - Accountable for scope change management - Evaluate and implement continuous improvement - Lead and present project updates for management reviews - Drive risk management process - Drive schedule performance to meet commitment dates - Plan, review, and improve project cost - Drive total cost of ownership processes - Manage project resources - Break down barriers across business departments for project success - Coordinate project activity with appropriate leaders, team members, and customers In Sourcing, you may also: - Coordinate with Supplier Manager as the primary point of contact for the project - Ensure Global Sourcing Part Transition process compliance - Assure supplier development, inventory transition planning, and contractual alignment - Collaborate with engineering and the COE for secure supply and high-quality components - Lead project gate reviews - Provide support in the supplier approval process Qualifications Required: - Good knowledge of project management tools, specifically MS Project and Work Breakdown Structure - Proficient understanding of Woodward's key business processes and metrics - Good knowledge of the part transition process and strategic sourcing principles in Sourcing - Experience with core global sourcing business processes and systems Education: - Master's degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS) for US applicants - Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) for US applicants Experience: - Experience in Quality, Sourcing, Manufacturing - Project Management experience Certifications: - PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or international equivalent - Six Sigma Green Belt certification for Manufacturing/Sourcing - Achieve and maintain Six Sigma Green Belt certification for Quality roles,
