Supply Chain Manager (SCM)

As a Procurement Manager at Inorbvict Healthcare India Private Limited, your role involves overseeing various key responsibilities to ensure efficient vendor management, procurement operations, cost control, inventory planning, quality assurance, documentation, budgeting, and coordination with other departments. Your primary duties include: - Vendor & Supplier Management: - Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers - Maintain strong supplier relationships - Monitor vendor performance and resolve issues - Procurement & Purchasing Operations: - Create and manage purchase orders (POs) - Ensure timely procurement of materials, services, and equipment - Follow company procurement policies and procedures - Cost Control & Negotiation: - Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers - Achieve cost savings without compromising quality - Conduct price comparisons and market analysis - Inventory & Material Planning: - Coordinate with warehouse and production teams - Maintain optimum inventory levels - Avoid stockouts, delays, and excess inventory - Quality Assurance: - Ensure purchased materials meet required specifications - Work with QC/QA teams to resolve quality issues - Reject and return defective materials - Documentation & Compliance: - Maintain vendor contracts, PO records, and GRN documents - Comply with GST, audit requirements, and company policies - Budgeting & Reporting: - Assist in preparing annual procurement budgets - Track purchase expenses and savings - Prepare MIS reports, vendor performance reports, and purchase summaries - Coordination With Other Departments: - Work closely with Production, Finance, Logistics, and Warehouse - Understand material requirements and timelines - Provide updates on material availability and delivery schedules - Market Research: - Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and new suppliers - Identify opportunities for cost optimization - Stay updated with industry standards If applicable, you will also be responsible for Team Management, which includes supervising purchase executives and assistants, assigning tasks, reviewing work, and training team members in procurement processes.
