Role Summary Responsible for leading the end-to-end demand forecasting function across categories or regions, ensuring high forecast accuracy, alignment with business objectives, and readiness of supply plans. This role drives strategic forecasting initiatives, leverages advanced analytics, and enables data-driven decision-making to optimize inventory and service levels. Shape Key Responsibilities Own and deliver the demand plan for assigned regions/business units, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Develop and implement advanced forecasting strategies using statistical models, AI/ML techniques, and scenario planning. Lead the S&OP demand review process, collaborating with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Planning). Integrate market intelligence and financial inputs into demand planning for accurate projections. Drive adoption of advanced forecasting tools and digital platforms, ensuring continuous improvement in accuracy and efficiency. Monitor and communicate demand risks, opportunities, and major shifts, enabling proactive mitigation strategies. Establish governance and compliance frameworks for forecasting processes and data integrity. Lead and mentor a team of demand planners and analysts, fostering a culture of analytical excellence and collaboration. Shape Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. MBA or professional certifications in Supply Chain (APICS, CSCP) preferred. Shape Technical Skills Expertise in forecasting tools, advanced analytics, and statistical modeling. Strong knowledge of AI/ML-based forecasting techniques and predictive analytics. Proficiency in data visualization, dashboard automation, and ERP/S&OP systems. Experience in system implementation and digital transformation projects is a plus. Shape Soft Skills Strategic leadership with a data-driven mindset. Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills. Strong analytical judgment and problem-solving ability. Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive-level reporting.
