Your Tasks
Overall Obligation:
The Supply chain excellence manager would be responsible for Framing service levels and performance management with primary transporters to support execution of dispatch plans across all manufacturing location, mother/regional DCs. He/ She would also lead the standardization of logistics and warehousing KPIs in alignment with global standards, documenting ways of working and ensuring compliance across all DCs
Role and Responsibilities
1. Design and implement network for primary transportation and review (regular basis) in conjunction to total delivered cost.
2. Lead rollout of SAP-WMS implementation across identified warehouse and partner with RLMs and LSP to deliver committed KPIs. 3. Building a strong transportation network with identified primary transportation vendors by lane. Working with the transportation vendors to ensure strong business relationship and support at optimal cost and vehicle load factor basis. Negotiating favourable terms for annual transportation agreements. 4. Ensure transit compliance in primary transportation 98% 5. Ensure on-time vehicle placement in primary transportation 98% 6. Developing framework for execution excellence in warehousing through value stream mapping and other lean management programs. 7. Driving pipe line of cost savings ideas, create price advantage, continuity of quality supply and innovation for the function 8. Establish safety and quality parameters for warehouse operations and partner along with Regional Logistics team for compliance/adherence. 9. Develop SOPs for warehousing operation in ensuring inventory accuracy across the country on a daily basis and identify the critical issues 10. Identifying best practices and planning process improvements to meet to improve service levels and inventory turnover ratio. 11. Facilitate and build capability for regional logistics managers towards execution of the regional demand planning process for the regions. 12. Develop metrics to gauge the efficacy of planning tools like MRP/CRP. 13. Develop SC dashboard in line with Beiersdorf global and other internal KPIs in accordance with ABP. 14. Conducts analysis and implements improvements for all work processes in order to eliminate Non-Value Added Activity. 15. Set up reviews along with Director- Supply Chain for SC KPIs and update dashboards, budget management and controls. 16. Conduct cost-benefit analysis for segmented service levels in logistics operation and planning process for various sales channel i.e., General Trade, Modern Trade, E-commerce and CSD/CPC. 17. Lead and implement all SC IT automation projects and partner with stakeholders to realise expected benefits in line with local and global KPIs.
Your Profile
Required Qualification:
1. Overall 5-7 years of post-MBA experience in Logistics and Planning vertical in a reputed organization in the FMCG/FMCD space.
2. Sound understanding of the Indian logistics environment / warehousing, transportation, Planning dimensions and supply chain IT tools. 3. Prior experience preferred in leading or driving SC IT projects leading to efficiencies in cost or process.
