Job Description

Job Role: Business Consultant - Supply Chain
Shift: UK Shift (1 PM to 10 PM IST)Work Mode: HybridRelevant Exp: Min 15 YearsLocation: Bangalore

Education Requirements

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
Masters degree or MBA preferred, especially with a focus on Operations or Strategy

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 15+ years of progressive experience in supply chain consulting or operations
Proven track record of leading end-to-end supply chain transformation projects
Experience working with cross-functional teams in manufacturing, retail, or distribution sectors
Familiarity with global supply chain networks and regulatory environments

Role & Responsibilities

Lead strategic supply chain initiatives for clients, including network optimization, inventory planning, and demand forecasting
Analyze current supply chain processes and identify areas for improvement using data-driven methodologies
Develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels
Collaborate with client stakeholders to align supply chain strategies with business goals
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior consultants and analysts
Prepare and deliver high-impact presentations and reports to executive leadership
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in tools like Excel, SQL, and Power BI
Expertise in supply chain software such as SAP, Oracle, JDA, or Kinaxis
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results under tight deadlines
Deep understanding of logistics, procurement, production planning, and inventory control

Nice-to-Have Skills & Certifications

APICS CPIM or CSCP certification
Experience with AI/ML applications in supply chain optimization
Familiarity with sustainability practices and ESG compliance in supply chains
Knowledge of digital twin technology or blockchain in logistics
Multilingual capabilities for global client engagement
