About the Role

Supply Chain Blockchain Specialist

This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain processes as well as blockchain architecture, smart contracts, and decentralized applications (dApps). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy real-world blockchain solutions that solve complex supply chain challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement

  blockchain solutions for supply chain use cases

  such as product traceability, anti-counterfeiting, inventory tracking, digital twins, and trade finance.
• Integrate blockchain with

  IoT, RFID, ERP, and legacy systems

  to enhance supply chain data flow and automation.
• Define and develop

  smart contracts

  and token-based systems for asset provenance, shipment validation, or digital certifications.
• Evaluate and select suitable

  blockchain platforms

  (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, Quorum, Polygon, VeChain, etc.) for enterprise-grade deployments.
• Analyze current supply chain pain points and propose blockchain-driven improvements for

  transparency, efficiency, and security

  .
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and technology partners for PoCs, pilots, and full-scale rollouts.
  
• Stay updated on regulatory requirements, industry standards (e.g., GS1, ISO), and emerging blockchain trends in logistics.
  
• Contribute to blockchain

  solution architecture, data modeling

  , and

  integration design

• Write technical documentation, whitepapers, and case studies for internal and external stakeholders.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Masters in Supply Chain, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  
• Solid understanding of

  supply chain processes

  (e.g., procurement, logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, compliance).
• Practical experience with

  blockchain/DLT platforms

  such as Ethereum, Hyperledger, VeChain, or Corda.
• Hands-on experience in writing or working with

  smart contracts

  (e.g., Solidity, Chaincode, DAML).
• Knowledge of

  tokenization

  ,

  digital identity

  , and

  asset tracking

  concepts.
• Familiarity with

  IoT devices

  QR codes

  RFID

  integration with blockchain systems.
• Strong experience in system integration (APIs, oracles, middleware) between blockchain and enterprise applications (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
  
• Ability to manage full project lifecycle from POC to production deployment.
