Supplier Quality Manager

This is an on-site hybrid role based in Pune or Hyderabad, reporting to the Director of Supply Chain for the India region. As the key figure in supplier selection and development, you will lead a team of three supplier quality development engineers. Your responsibilities include assessing supplier capabilities, qualifying new parts and suppliers for cost-saving projects, contributing to regional category strategy, and managing supplier performances. Collaboration with segment and global category teams, divisional product leaders, operations, and other stakeholders will be crucial to drive value and sustainability in the supply chain. Managing supplier-related quality issues in regional plants and export-based suppliers will be essential to enhance overall supplier performance across Regal Rexnord. In this role, your responsibilities include: 1. **Supplier Selection and Auditing:** Leading supplier selection during design and development phases, developing and prioritizing auditing schedules, acting as the supplier quality representative on design and development teams, conducting Supplier Scorecard reviews, and ensuring timely closure of corrective actions. 2. **Cost Saving Projects and Project Management:** Playing an active role in Cost Saving projects, assigning proper resources, serving as the key interface between suppliers and internal stakeholders, and aligning project goals with long-term supplier strategies. 3. **Compliance and Improvement:** Auditing and evaluating suppliers" internal processes for compliance, maintaining regular contact with suppliers, supporting product transfers, and developing required Quality Plans and protocols. 4. **Performance Monitoring:** Tracking supplier performance, holding periodic meetings with stakeholders, ensuring control plans for changes in parts and supplier processes, and overseeing root cause analysis and corrective actions. **Qualifications:** - **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Engineering. - **Experience:** 15+ years of Supplier Quality Engineering experience with 5+ years in managerial roles. Willingness to travel domestically up to 60%. - **Technical Skills:** Hands-on exposure to quality system requirements of AS9100 or ISO 9001, understanding of basic quality tools, and extensive knowledge of machining or metal processing techniques.,
