Supplier Quality Engineer Hydraulics, Cooling & Mechanical Components

• Drive the qualification and re-qualification of new and current suppliers, in accordance with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Power Pvt. Limited internal procedures.
• Primarily responsible for performing supplier Product and Process qualification through PPAP (APQP) approach.
• Investigate, analyze and correct quality discrepancies in relation to products and quality at supplier, including Non-Conformances (NCR) handling and 8D set up.
• Ensure that the product and process quality of suppliers is compliant with Siemens Gamesa Renewables requirements. Initiate and implement strategies (Supplier Development Program) to enable the development of suppliers, improving their competences and overall quality performance.
• Participate in interdisciplinary and cross-functional workgroups as Supplier Quality representative. (eg X functional Commodity team meetings, Product Development reviews, Factory-Project-Service forums).
• Facilitate audits at suppliers.

• You have a Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent professional background, combined with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience within supplier quality from an international company.
• Product and Process auditing experience is mandatory. Candidates with sound PPAP knowledge will be preferred.
• Management system auditing experience with ISO 9001/ISO 14001/ISO 45001 or similar will be preferred.
• Candidates with Hydraulics Cooling components knowledge preferred.
• Sound knowledge in Quality Management skills Tools including APQP4WIND, Inspections, CAPA, RCA, 8D and internal External customers handling
• Furthermore, certification VDA 6.3, Six Sigma and Lean is an added advantage.
• You have previous quality related experience with Mechanical, Hydraulics Cooling s components, (examples: Pitch control (Hydraulic type), Hydraulic Power Packs, Yaw Brakes, Hydraulic Pumps Accumulators, Brake system, Cooling s system, Radiators, Bearings Gearbox) and good knowledge of the manufacturing/ assembly related processes.
• Wind industry experience is an added advantage.
• You hold a technical background and able to understand drawings and specifications as we'll related EN/ISO/IEC standards, Knowledge in PED Pressure Equipment Directives.
• You have strong interpersonal and communication skills and are capable of interfacing with numerous parties at all levels in a multicultural environment.
• You possess excellent English (both orally and written) and IT skills, including SAP, MS office applications, etc
