Supplier Manager - Indirect Sourcing

Your Role Overview: As a Procurement Manager, your role involves developing and implementing commodity strategies and managing supplier relationships in assigned commodities. You will be responsible for sourcing activities at a local level, ensuring compliance with the Group Strategy, and contributing to global savings initiatives. Your key focus will be on localization projects, local portfolio development, and supporting the overall plans of the Group development in India. Key Responsibilities: - Spend Analysis: Identify and analyze total indirect spend of the company to optimize and achieve cost savings. - Market Research: Gather information on potential suppliers, market trends, and pricing for different indirect goods and services. - Supplier Identification and Evaluation: Identify and qualify new suppliers based on quality, price, delivery time, and company policy. - Contract Negotiation: Develop and negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing. - Vendor Management: Manage relationships with existing suppliers, monitor performance, and resolve issues. - Cost Reduction Strategies: Implement strategies to reduce indirect spend through supplier consolidation, contract optimization, and value engineering. - Data Analysis and Reporting: Track key procurement metrics and generate reports demonstrating cost savings and performance improvements. - Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders across different departments to align procurement with business objectives. Qualifications Required: - Professional Experience: 10-15 years in a global company with a focus on indirect procurement. Global exposure is essential. - Category Handled: Experience in handling indirect and services procurement. Knowledge of import-export will be an added advantage. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP S4 Hana, SAP Ariba, and Advanced Excel. - Language Skills: Fluency in English, Hindi, and Marathi. - Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related field, preferred BE.
