Supplier Manager - Indirect Sourcing

Role Overview: As a Strategic Sourcing Manager in India, your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement commodity strategies and manage suppliers in the assigned commodities. You will collaborate with the global Strategic Sourcing organization to explore opportunities for efficient local-to-global implementation, focusing on localization projects and supporting the overall growth plans of the Group in India. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct spend analysis to identify and optimize total indirect spend, aiming for cost savings and operational efficiency - Conduct market research to gather information on potential suppliers, market trends, and pricing for various indirect goods and services - Identify and evaluate new suppliers based on quality, price, delivery time, and company policy - Develop and negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing - Manage relationships with existing suppliers, monitor their performance, and resolve any issues that may arise - Implement cost reduction strategies through supplier consolidation, contract optimization, and value engineering - Track key procurement metrics, generate reports demonstrating cost savings and performance improvements - Collaborate with internal stakeholders from different departments to align procurement with business objectives Qualifications Required: - Professional Experience: 10-15 years in a global company with indirect & services procurement experience - Global exposure is a must - Knowledge of import-export will be an added advantage - Proficiency in SAP S4 Hana, SAP Ariba, and Advanced Excel - Proficiency in English, Hindi, and Marathi - Bachelor's Degree preferred, BE preferred, Master's Degree preferred, MBA preferred (Note: The job description does not include any additional details about the company.),
