Supplier Business Manager

Role Overview: You will be part of Orbit & Skyline India Pvt. Ltd., a leading semiconductor service provider. In this role, you will focus on continuous process improvement, supplier involvement, goal establishment, shortage resolution, and cross-functional commodity team representation. Your responsibilities will also include collaborating with engineering and suppliers to address complex issues and support process improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Work on enhancing procurement, inventory control, and manufacturing strategies through continuous process improvement - Coordinate early supplier involvement in new product parts design - Establish goals with suppliers to ensure timely material delivery matching forecasted demand - Serve as an escalation point for resolving shortages - Represent supplier business management on cross-functional commodity teams - Collaborate with engineering and suppliers to tackle complex problems - Develop presentations, white papers, and process flow charts to aid continuous process improvement projects Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial engineering preferred - Minimum 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management with a focus on global suppliers - Proficiency in purchasing agreements and contracting - Experience in developing, managing, and enhancing supplier performance metrics - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills - Sound understanding of materials and manufacturing processes - Excellent written and oral communication skills in English - Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus) Additional Details: Orbit & Skyline is a dynamic organization in the semiconductor industry, offering a supportive work environment that encourages personal growth.
