Description

The Supervisor Welding will oversee and coordinate welding operations, ensuring high standards of quality and safety are maintained in the welding department.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage welding operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in the welding area.
Train and mentor junior welders and staff on welding techniques and best practices.
Conduct regular inspections of welding equipment and materials to ensure they are in proper working condition.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet project deadlines and specifications.
Monitor and maintain inventory of welding supplies and materials.

Skills and Qualifications

5-6 years of experience in welding supervision or a related field.
Proficiency in various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Arc welding.
Strong understanding of welding safety practices and regulations.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
