Job Description

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Facility Manager to oversee the overall site management and delivery of all Statements of Work (SOWs) under our Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) contract. The successful candidate will manage AMC services, coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) installations, and ensure seamless maintenance operations within the facility. Key Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of site operations, ensuring timely delivery of services under the IFM contract. Oversee AMC vendors contracted by Sodexo to ensure high-quality service delivery. Support operations by managing MEP installations and civil maintenance within the facility. Prepare and maintain a critical spares inventory in line with manufacturers recommendations. Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime. Review and ensure maintenance/service practices of M&E contractors align with manufacturer guidelines. Maintain accurate logbooks, checklists, and Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules for all M&E installations. Efficiently manage downtime and breakdown incidents to minimize operational impact. Coordinate ad-hoc M&E setups based on client requirements. Enforce contractor compliance with site rules to ensure minimal disruption to clients. Assume responsibility for AFM Soft Services when necessary. Independently handle shifts and assigned operational matters. Reporting & Compliance: Provide daily M&E operational reports to the Facility Manager. Generate maintenance, inventory, downtime, and incident reports. Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are consistently met or exceeded. Maintain full compliance with EHS regulations and site policies. Manage issuance of Purchase Orders, Work Orders, and permits prior to job commencement. Ensure 100% power uptime for critical equipment at all times. Report incidents as per established procedures and SLAs. Lead energy conservation initiatives and ensure target achievement. Coordinate internal modification works and client visits/events. Validate electricity bills and offer recommendations for optimization. Provide timely and accurate data for Management Information Systems (MIS) and other reporting requirements. Qualifications & Experience: Diploma or BE in Electrical Engineering or related field. Minimum 5 years of contract administration experience (desirable). Strong knowledge of occupational safety standards and compliance. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse client and contractor teams. High proficiency in computer applications and facility management systems. Proven track record of managing SLAs effectively, with at least 90% in green status. Experience in continuous improvement initiatives is highly valued. Demonstrated expertise in client reporting and documentation. Competencies: Strong leadership and team management skills. Problem-solving and decision-making ability under pressure. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
