Description
Conduct RD works on newly arrived materials of the consignment and also conduct tests on old materials, submitting reports on them. Overseeing the daily activities of the RD team, providing direction, support, and mentorship. Defining project scope, developing detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, aligning with company objectives and available resources. Providing technical guidance, expertise, and mentorship to the production team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. Conduct thorough research on existing technologies, emerging trends, and market needs to identify opportunities for innovation. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all research, design, testing, and development activities. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders. Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process optimization, and product enhancements. Strong understanding of engineering principles, proficiency in CAD software experience with prototyping and testing methodologies. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and marketing. Ensuring that all RD activities are conducted in accordance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies. If any details we're needed from the RD team of another department, we collaborated to get the necessary information and provide the best possible solution. Tried to identify the problems with the components from the installation team and find the problems within the components. Providing weekly training to installation teams and submitting monthly training reports Monitored the training status of all pan-India installation teams and submitted monthly report to the reporting manager Daily updates on the work that is done and update to the manager on the work that is carried out on a daily basis Coordinated with both the site installation team and the Pan-India team to troubleshoot and resolve any issues through telephone communication or site visit. Conducting site inspections and inspections to correct issues and determine the root cause of the problem Including physical presence in the process to correct those involved by personally involved in the installation activities and reporting managers. Collaborated with the NPD team as needed to ensure smooth workflow and resolve any discrepancies Identifying any new materials needed for RD and ensuring that prototypes meet expectations For any technical details, the responsible held up with the RD Supervisor and will be able to guide the concerned team with the best possible solutions Identifying the issues in the material from installation teams and searching the issues in the material. Site Visits and Inspections for the rectification and find the root cause of the problem. Visiting vendor facility for the implementation of the new products across PAN India Involving in the installation activities in person and incorporating the physical appearance in the process in order to rectify the concerns addressed by the reporting managers. Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation of research, designs, and test results. Also need to find any new material required RD also make sure to meet the expectations by preparation of the prototype of the material. Should be flexible to work in rotation shifts upon managers instruction. Adhering to the KRA KPI and accepting the time to time basis upgrades and tasks as assigned by the reporting managers. Requirements Software Skills: Auto Cad 2D 3D, SolidWorks/Catia, Any 3D Modelling Software, and M.S Office. Machine Knowledge : Double Miter Profile Cutting machine, Drilling machine, Milling machine, Glass Cutting machine, Vacuum/Membrane Press machine, Panel Saw machine, Sanding machine and Digital Printing Machine respectively. Preferred Languages: English and Hindi. Desirable Languages: Kannada, Telugu and Tamil
