Traveling Superintendent – Mission Critical

• Provide coordination and supervision of design-build and bid-build projects in mission critical facilities such as telco switch buildings and data centers
• Collaboration with clients, design team and contractors for project success
• Build/maintain jobsite culture of “Safety First”
• Quality Control/Quality Assurance
• Daily coordination and management of subcontractors and jobsite logistics
• Collect, review and submit shop drawings, product data, test reports, etc.
• Build/update construction schedule and ‘look ahead’ schedules
• Review estimates with operations team to ensure logistical/site considerations are included
• Supervise and coordinate the execution of M.O.P.s (Method of Procedure) efforts
• Complete daily/weekly reports and maintain photo journal of progress
  

• Degree in construction management or equivalent work experience
• A minimum of 7 years’ experience in construction field management/supervision.
• Experience in the construction of critical facility environments is preferred
• Partnership approach to working with contractors, designers and clients.
• MS Office Suite knowledge and excellent computer skills
• Proficient in MS Project Scheduling
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead a team
• Self-motivation with good time management skills
• Travel is required
