You are an Electrical Engineer with 5-7 years of work experience You have hands-on experience in design and engineering for Substations (Air Insulated Substation / Gas Insulated Substation) You are proficient with Microsoft Excel and well versed with 3D CAD tools like AutoCAD, Primtech etc. You've sound technical knowledge and in depth understanding of international and Indian standards. You've hands on design experience for multiple projects in substation design and have deep understanding of customer specification for several customers. Domestic/International site visit/customer/ consultant discussions. Estimation of Tower Qty. for Bid purpose. Guide survey teams for walk through surveys, topographical surveys, final surveys, analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to plan optimized route for projects. Preparing Drawings & Documents for Transmission Line Project Including Route Map & Electrical Clearance Diagram, Single Line Diagram (Outline Diagram) of Tower & Gantrys , RCC & Steel Structures with Plan & Section Details, Foundations, Bar Bending Schedule etc. Layout design engineering and multi-disciplinary coordination such as Concept Notes, Feasibility Reports, Detailed Project Reports, Tender Document Preparations, Tender Drawings, BOQ estimations etc. Drawing approvals, material BoM preparation for procurement activities, support to site team etc. Preparation of sag tension calculations, loading calculations, clearance diagram. Preparation of civil erection costing by analyzing project scope of work, survey report, civil material, labor, equipment. subcontractor rate , and overhead costs incurred in turnkey projects. Using design software for structural foundation design for AIS/GIS & control room foundation footings, substation equipment foundation footings like Tower, CT, PT, Isolator & Lightening arrestor, Cable Termination, Power transformer foundation design, cable trench design, retaining wall design, Cable trench support design etc. Developing STADD.Pro, PLS CADD, PLS TOWER, PLS POLE and Design Reports for GIS building, CRB, gantry, Tower & Substation equipment structure etc. Coordinating with customers & vendors for technical clarifications/approvals. Type testing planning & undertaking critical inspections. Review Engineering activities such as Vendor drawing review & co-ordination. Must be able to deliver most optimized design.
