Subject Matter Expert - Supply Chain

Role Overview: Our team at Siemens Energy is actively supporting the company's strategy to become a Sustainability Leader. We are seeking a driven and self-motivated individual with excellent project management skills, preferably having experience in Sustainability topics like Environmental, Social, Governance. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring compliance with Sustainability regulations and contributing to EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). Key Responsibilities: - Conduct supplier data due diligence for CBAM/EUDR, including data collection and HS codes - Validate data against PO line items using HS codes and coordinate with Procurement to resolve discrepancies - Monitor amendments in Material Management by Procurement and Customs - Engage vendors on CBAM/EUDR submissions, manage discrepancies, and configure due diligence tools - Monitor CBAM/EUDR data quality, perform risk assessments, and build dashboards to visualize status and compliance progress - Prepare CBAM import declarations/quarterly reports, compile EUDR due diligence statements, and maintain data repositories - Drive continuous improvement in SOPs, controls, and training - Collaborate with due diligence initiatives and cross-functional teams Qualifications Required: - Project Management skills - Advanced Leadership skills - Strategic thinking and strong analytical skills - Data proficiency in Excel, Power BI, validation, and handling large datasets - Basic legal/regulatory knowledge related to CBAM/EUDR and HS/CN codes - Supplier management, networking, and issue resolution - Good language skills in English - Sustainability competence (ESG) - Experience with procurement processes such as POs, MM master data, and vendor onboarding Additional Company Details: In this role, you will be working within the Human Resources function HR Systems and Services at Siemens Energy.
