Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, design, and curate 

  high-quality question papers

   aligned with educational standards and curriculum guidelines.
• Ensure 

  variety in question types

   (MCQs, short answers, long-form descriptive, case studies, etc.) to assess different levels of student understanding.
• Collaborate with AI and product teams to refine 

  automated grading systems

   for accuracy and efficiency.
• Review and validate 

  AI-generated assessments

   to ensure correctness and maintain academic integrity.
• Stay informed about curriculum changes and best practices in education through ongoing research.
• Provide 

  feedback and recommendations

   to improve Smartail’s AI-powered assessment models.
• Assist in 

  content validation, quality checks, and training

   AI models for handwriting recognition.
• Work closely with internal teams to 

  resolve subject-related queries

   and provide expert guidance.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Educational Background:

   Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in 

  Accounts, Commerce, Mathematics & English

  .

• Experience:

   Proven experience in developing question papers and assessment materials for 

  academic institutions

  .

• Subject Expertise:

   Strong command over respective subjects, ensuring 

  high-quality content creation

  .

• Technical Proficiency:

   Basic to intermediate knowledge of 

  computer applications

   for content creation and review.

• Communication Skills:

   Excellent 

  written and verbal English communication

   skills.

• Attention to Detail:

   Strong focus on 

  accuracy, consistency, and clarity

   in assessments.

• Time Management:

   Ability to work 

  efficiently under deadlines

   and manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Teamwork:
