Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Subject Matter Expert with excellent communication skills and a background in mechanical, civil, electrical or construction engineering or construction sales. This role is ideal for an engineer/construction sales associate looking to transition into a dynamic software sales focussed position. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our sales team, acting as the technical expert to facilitate communication between the customer and the estimating team, clarifying technical details, and ensuring seamless operations in alignment with US timings.


Responsibilities:

  • Communication Facilitation:
  • Represent the organization on customer calls to clarify technical queries and provide detailed explanations of our offerings.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives to understand their needs and effectively communicate product updates and construction knowledge.
  • Create and maintain clear and concise communication channels, ensuring vital information reaches the sales force promptly.
  • Develop training materials, presentations, and documentation to assist in conveying complex technical information to sales professionals.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Utilize your engineering background to comprehend intricate technical details of our products or services.
  • Translate technical jargon into comprehensible content for sales personnel, enhancing their ability to articulate product benefits to potential clients.
  • Communicate customer requirements clearly to the estimating team
  • Contribute to product development by capturing and evangelizing needs expressed by the client.
  • Sales Support:
  • Assist in the execution of sales strategies by providing valuable insights garnered from technical expertise.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as operations, product, and customer support and the sales team.
  • Ensure success in enterprise pilots with prospective customers
  • Time Zone Alignment:
  • Maintain availability and flexibility to work within US timings to ensure effective communication and support for the sales team based in those time zones.

Qualifications:

  • Should be comfortable with Night Shifts (US Time Zone)
  • A degree in mechanical, civil,construction, or electrical engineering or experience in construction sales
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to simplify technical information for a non-technical audience.
  • Eagerness to transition into a SME role and contribute proactively to the sales team's success.
  • Ability to represent the organization on customer calls, clarifying technical details effectively.
  • Ability to adapt to US timings and work collaboratively across different time zones.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize assignments effectively.
