Photographer – Job DescriptionPosition Overview: We are seeking a creative, skilled, and detail-oriented Photographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio, technical expertise in photography, and a keen eye for composition and detail. You will be responsible for executing photoshoots, editing images, and delivering high-quality visual content that aligns with client expectations and project goals. Key Responsibilities: Client ConsultationMeet with clients to understand their vision, style preferences, and specific requirements. Offer creative suggestions and propose visual concepts tailored to client needs. Studio & Location SetupPrepare and manage studio setups, including lighting, backgrounds, and props. Scout and select optimal locations for on-site shoots when required. Image CaptureOperate professional camera equipment to capture high-quality images in studio and on location. Ensure correct composition, lighting, and exposure for every shot. Subject DirectionDirect and pose subjects to achieve natural, engaging, and aesthetically pleasing outcomes. Create a comfortable atmosphere to bring out the best expressions and movements. Photo Editing & RetouchingUse software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and other tools to enhance and retouch images. Ensure final images meet quality standards and client expectations. Equipment ManagementMaintain and test photography equipment including cameras, lenses, lighting, and accessories. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly. Digital Asset ManagementOrganize, archive, and manage a digital image library efficiently. Ensure timely delivery of edited photos to clients or departments. CollaborationCoordinate with stylists, makeup artists, creative directors, and marketing teams. Participate in planning meetings to align on visual goals and branding. Professional DevelopmentStay current with photography trends, technologies, and editing techniques. Attend workshops, courses, or exhibitions to continuously improve skills. Required Skills & Qualifications:Experience: Proven experience in professional photography with a strong portfolio. Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of photography techniques (lighting, composition, exposure). Editing Skills: Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and other post-processing tools. Equipment Knowledge: Skilled in operating DSLR/mirrorless cameras, studio lighting, and related equipment. Soft Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail. Adaptability: Flexible in approach and able to cater to a variety of photography styles and client preferences. Education (Preferred): Bachelor's degree in Photography, Visual Arts, Fine Arts, or related field.
