Job Title: Student Counsellor Location: Office-based (Central Bangalore) Company: MGM Global A premier study-abroad advisory consultancy guiding students through every step of their international education journey. Key Responsibilities Lead Generation & Outreach: Make cold calls and send targeted emails to prospective students and parents. Qualify inbound leads and update CRM with accurate lead information. Counselling & Consultation: Conduct one-on-one consultations to understand academic goals, budget, and country/program preferences. Present tailored study-abroad options, including universities, courses, fees, and scholarships. Application Management: Assist students in completing application forms and gathering required documents. Liaise with partner universities to track application status and secure offer letters. Sales & Conversion: Clearly explain service fees, payment processes, and timelines. Close sales by guiding students through fee payments and service agreements. Post-Admission Support: Coordinate visa document preparation and submission. Follow up regularly to ensure students meet pre-departure requirements. Qualifications & Skills Bachelors degree (any discipline); Education/International Relations background preferred. 12 years’ experience in student counselling, tele-sales, or customer service. Exceptional verbal and written communication in English; additional regional languages a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly. Results-driven, target-oriented mindset with proven sales or conversion track record. Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce) and MS Office suite.
