Job Title: Abroad Education Counsellor

Job Summary

The Abroad Education Counsellor will be responsible for guiding and assisting students who wish to pursue higher education overseas. This role involves providing accurate information about international universities, courses, admission procedures, visa processes, and career prospects. The counsellor will serve as a trusted advisor to students and their families, ensuring a smooth and informed decision-making process.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students on study options abroad, including courses, universities, eligibility, and career opportunities.
• Evaluate student profiles and guide them in selecting suitable countries, universities, and courses based on their academic background, financial capacity, and career goals.
• Provide detailed guidance on admission processes, documentation requirements, application deadlines, and scholarship opportunities.
• Assist students in preparing for language proficiency tests such as IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, etc.
• Support students with visa documentation and interview preparation for countries like United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, etc.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changing immigration policies, university admission guidelines, and educational trends.
• Organize seminars, workshops, and presentations in schools/colleges to promote study abroad programs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, universities, and other stakeholders.
• Keep accurate records of student interactions, applications, and admissions.
• Achieve individual and team enrollment targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Previous experience as an education counsellor or in student recruitment/admissions is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Customer-oriented mindset with problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with international education systems and visa requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
