Structural Design Engineer - Road Projects

Role Overview: As a Structural Design Engineer at Organic 121 Scientific Pvt Ltd, you will be responsible for performing structural design and analysis for road-related structures such as bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and foundations. Your role will involve preparing design calculations, detailed drawings, and technical reports while ensuring compliance with relevant codes and client specifications. Additionally, you will collaborate with various design teams and support construction site teams by providing technical clarifications and resolving design-related issues. Key Responsibilities: - Perform structural design and analysis for road-related structures including bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and foundations. - Prepare design calculations, detailed drawings, and technical reports. - Review and interpret geotechnical, topographical, and traffic data to inform structural designs. - Ensure compliance with relevant codes (IRC, IS, AASHTO, etc.) and client specifications. - Conduct structural assessments and recommend appropriate rehabilitation or strengthening measures. - Collaborate with civil, geotechnical, and highway design teams to integrate structural solutions effectively. - Support site teams during construction by providing technical clarifications and resolving design-related issues. - Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and material specifications. - Maintain documentation and ensure quality control in design deliverables. Qualification Required: - Bachelors degree in civil or Structural Engineering (masters preferred). - 2-3 years of experience in structural design, preferably in road and highway projects. - Proficiency in design software such as STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, ETABS, Revit, and MS Excel. - Strong understanding of Indian Roads Congress (IRC) and IS codes. - Knowledge of modern materials, load calculations, and design optimization. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.,
