Job Description

Role Overview: As the Manager of Global Sourcing at Fortrea, you will play a vital role in developing, managing, and executing category strategies that are in line with the company's strategic imperatives and mission. Your primary responsibility will be to position the Global Procurement Services organization as a trusted strategic partner across the enterprise. You will need to collaborate with leaders to ensure efficient and effective category strategies and supplier evaluation, leading multi-functional stakeholder teams on strategic sourcing initiatives to drive benefit realization and value creation. Additionally, creating a strong team environment and service culture will be crucial to delivering timely and quality services. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, manage, and execute category strategies to support Fortrea's strategic imperatives and mission - Collaborate with leaders to ensure efficient and effective category strategies, preferred suppliers, and competitive supplier evaluation - Lead multi-functional stakeholder teams on strategic sourcing initiatives to drive benefit realization and value creation - Conduct regular contract review meetings with suppliers and key stakeholders to ensure performance meets expectations - Own and manage the end-to-end Source to Contract process for assigned categories, ensuring compliance and regulatory reporting - Consult with leaders and understand market trends to verify the relevance of sourcing strategy - Develop, monitor, and analyze procurement metrics and spend analytics, conduct market research and analysis, and negotiate favorable terms with potential suppliers - Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical procurement practices - Establish a robust supplier evaluation framework and identify opportunities for supplier development - Deliver savings and value targets across multiple dimensions, including material deflation and cost optimization Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA preferred - 7-10 years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing roles or allied fields - Deep knowledge of sourcing processes, market trends, benchmarks, and best practices across categories under management - Attention to detail, decision-making skills, troubleshooting abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office365 - Strong negotiation, communication, and project management skills - Ability to work autonomously and operate with significant autonomy - Proficiency in procurement software and data analysis tools, proven analytical skills, and demonstrated problem-solving abilities - Deep business and financial acumen, strong strategic and conceptual skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills (Note: Additional details about the company were not provided in the job description.),
