Role Overview: As part of Risk Management at JPMorgan Chase, you play a crucial role in ensuring the firm's strength and resilience. Key Responsibilities: - Manage Direct Mail Prescreen risk strategies, from end to end, to reduce losses, improve efficiency, and balance risk-reward trade-offs - Identify key risk drivers, assess concentrations and exposures, and segment the portfolio based on analytical insights - Collaborate with cross-functional partners, present to senior management, and ensure a robust control environment - Lead the creation, design, and execution of projects/analytics within your functional area - Exercise judgment and decision-making skills for complex problem-solving - Work collaboratively with various teams to address key business challenges - Independently handle analytical tasks, including problem identification, data analysis, and formulation of actionable recommendations - Provide clear and concise communication across functions and levels, including Operations, IT, and Risk Management - Coach and mentor a group of analytic professionals, fostering their development - Demonstrate effective people management and leadership skills Qualifications Required: - MS/Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Math, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or equivalent - Advanced degree preferred - Experience in white space problem solving and ability to navigate in ambiguous environments - Project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks across cross-functional groups - Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration - Knowledge of the lending lifecycle, risk management policies, control processes, and strategies - Proficiency in SAS programming, SQL programming, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel - Strong leadership experience - Understanding of the card industry in a strategy/policy role is a plus,
