Storekeeper

managing inventory and supplies, ensuring cleanliness and organization, assisting with receiving and storing deliveries, supporting staff with operational tasks, and maintaining a safe, hygienic environment to support efficient restaurant operations. Key skills for this role are strong communication, attention to detail, organizational ability, inventory management knowledge, and the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Receiving, unpacking, and properly storing food supplies, beverages, and operational equipment.
• Stock Control: Monitoring stock levels, conducting periodic inventory checks, and reporting any discrepancies to management.
• Organization & Cleanliness: Maintaining a well-organized and clean storage area, as well as supporting the restaurant's overall hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Supply & Order Assistance: Assisting with placing orders for necessary supplies and coordinating with vendors.
• Operational Support: Supporting kitchen staff with food and beverage preparation tasks and ensuring all operational equipment is in working order.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhering to food safety regulations and ensuring equipment is used safely and correctly.

Qualifications

• Education: Typically a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience: Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or a similar storage/inventory role is often desirable.
• Certifications: A background in supply chain management or inventory control can be beneficial.
