Store Supervisor

As a Store Supervisor at Kolkata Airport, your role involves the day-to-day running of store operations, including opening and closing procedures following SOPs. You will be responsible for maintaining store standards in terms of hygiene, VM displays, and adherence to company policies. Your role will also include cashiering, POS training, supporting team members, and ensuring sales targets are met while minimizing shrinkage levels through proper merchandise handling. Key Responsibilities: - Responsible for the day-to-day running of store operations - Ensure adherence to opening and closing SOPs - Maintain store standards including hygiene and VM displays - Drive company policies, store SOPs, and employment standards - Assist in cashiering and provide POS training - Achieve sales targets set for the store and categories - Minimize shrinkage levels through proper merchandise handling - Manage and resolve customer complaints and queries - Conduct audits to achieve standards in customer service and housekeeping - Assist in maintaining product quality by identifying issues - Provide team learning and development through training programs - Manage inward and outward stocks and inventory - Work as part of a team of Sales Advisors with a customer-first approach - Engage staff with regular briefings and feedback sessions for rewards and recognition Qualification Required: - 2 years of experience in the retail industry - Undergraduate/graduate degree Skills Required: - Commercial acumen - Customer focus - Team management - Effective communication - Role modeling - Planning and organizing This is a full-time position with benefits including health insurance, paid sick time, and provident fund. You should be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate to Dum Dum, West Bengal.
